Conor McGregor has been pipped to the post to buy a popular Dublin pub.
The former UFC Champion was in line to purchase JW Sweetnam just off O'Connell Bridge.
The Currency reports a family of Longford publicans made a successful bid of 5.5 million euros for the four-story establishment.
McGregor owns three other Dublin pubs in Crumlin, Drimnagh and Howth.
