The Department of Housing has issued a statement to local authorities with advise on how to help rough-sleepers at risk of heat exhaustion, heat stroke and severe sunburn.
They've asked for outreach workers to provide water, sunscreen, sun hats and shelter during the day.
Dublin City Council says arrangements are being put in place to ensure temporary shelter will be available to those who need it.
