Injecting cocaine has re-emerged as a trend in Ireland with significant levels detected in syringes collected in Dublin and the midlands.
The HSE's pilot project found heroin is the most commonly used substance among those who inject themselves with drugs.
Dr. Garrett McGovern from Priority Medical Clinic in Dublin says the mix of drugs found in some syringes is concerning.
