60 people are set to lose their jobs in Co.Galway due to the closure of a long-serving Milk plant.
Arrabawn Dairies has sold the business for 8 million euro, as a result its production plant in Kilconnell will shut down.
Up to 140 staff will either be relocated or offered redundancy, and 60 of those will lose their jobs.
TD Denis Naughten, described the announcement as a huge blow to staff and families, as well as the entire community.
