There's a call for a Just Transition for workers hit by the closure of the country's last briquette factory.
Bord na Móna's Derrinlough plant in County Offaly has shut for good this week.
Laois-Offaly TD Brian Stanley - who's a former employee of Bord na Móna - says its workers need support:
"In fact, I actually hauled peat from the briquette in Croghan in North Offaly back a number of years ago. So, I suppose it marks the end of that era. But I think the question now is what happens to the workers? There's been a lot of talk in the last few years about A Just Transition. We have to move on to ensure that there is a Just Transition for those workers".
