Cabinet Ministers have finalised their plans for energy credit payments for the winter months.
It's expected the €200 credit will be paid in November, January and March.
There were question marks over how this form of credit will work for pre-pay customers, to ensure they're not disconnected.
Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien insists no pre-pay energy customers will be cut off in the winter months.
