One of the two boys found guilty of murdering Ana Kriègel four years ago is due to appeal his conviction today.
Boy B was just 13-years-old when he lured Ana from her home in Co Kildare to a derelict farmhouse in Lucan, Co Dublin, where his friend killed her.
It has been three years since Boy A and Boy B were convicted for their roles in the murder of Kildare schoolgirl Ana Kriègel.
Boy A was handed a life sentence with a review due to take place after twelve years, while Boy B was sentenced to fifteen years detention with a review after eight.
Boy A hasn't lodged an appeal. Boy B’s is due to be heard today.
He’s seeking to overturn his murder conviction and has engaged a new legal team for this challenge.
In July, they were refused permission to introduce fresh evidence in the appeal.
The hearing is due to begin at 10 o'clock this morning.
