Bernard Gloster has been appointed the Chief Executive of the HSE.
He's moving over from Tusla where he has served as CEO for the past three years.
He will take up the role in the New Year, taking over full-time from Paul Reid who resigned earlier this year.
Bernard Gloster says it's a privilege to be selected for the role.
