Bank of Ireland Hires Over 400 People To Support New Accounts As Two Banks Are Leaving Irish Market

Bank of Ireland's employing over 400 people on temporary contracts to support those transferring accounts - from two other banks that are leaving the Irish market.

80 workers are being redeployed from other parts of the bank.

Both KBC Bank and Ulster Bank have announced they are leaving the market here and customers are being encouraged to plan ahead to move their accounts to other institutions.
