The Arts Minister says there have been no discussions on restricting gigs as part of energy saving measures.
Catherine Martin says she wants to see venues remain open despite pressure from rising costs, which is believed to be impacting ticket sales.
It comes as 2,000 people working in the arts sector were told today they've qualified for a new Basic Income Scheme.
Minister Martin wouldn't say whether there will be any specific help for the industry in the Budget.
