80,000 cigarettes have been seized at Dublin Port.
They were found by detector dog Waffle in a consignment from Poland.
Revenue estimates the retail value as being 60,000 euro representing a loss to the exchequer of 47,000 euro.
Officers also found 40,000 euro worth of cannabis in Athlone as part of routine operations in a package addressed to Dublin.
