An 8 year old girl has been transferred to a Dublin hospital in a critical condition, after a suspected stabbing in Clare.
Her mother, aged in her 40s, was found unconscious and is also in a critical condition in hospital.
Both the mother and daughter are Ukrainian refugees, who were staying at the property, near Clarecastle, where the incident occurred.
Freelance reporter Pat Flynn says emergency services were called to the scene yesterday morning.
