77 people have been questioned on suspicion of paying for sex as part of a human trafficking crackdown.

Gardaí targeted 58 premises related to the sex trade as part of an EU-wide operation earlier this month.

One female victim of sexual exploitation was identified.

While a man was arrested for crimes related to brothel-keeping.

Over 10 thousand euro, suspected of being the proceeds of crime for organising prostitution, has also been seized.
