One in four small landlords have indicated their plans to leave the rental market in the next five years.
That’s according to data from the Residential Tenancies Board, which will appear before the Oireachtas Housing Committee today.
Its survey also found most small landlords do no not manage properties full time, while 90 percent have had a positive experience with their tenants.
The Chairman of the RTB will also tell TDs and senators that complex legislation can give rise to unintentional non-compliance by the public.
