Actor Jeff Bridges has announced the great news that his cancer is in remission.

The Big Lebowski star posted on his official website saying, "My cancer is in remissions - the '9 x 12' mass has shrunk down to the size of a marble."

Bridges was also diagnosed with Covid-19 during the year but has recovered from the virus saying it's in his "rear view mirror."

He said, "Covid kicked my ass pretty good but I'm double vaccinated and feeling much better now."

The actor also shared more good news that he walked his daughter down the aisle and shared a dance with her and he is going to be returning to filming on the set of "The Old Man".

"The Old Man" will be Jeff's return to television for the first time in five decades and will co-star alongside Amy Brenneman, Alisa Shawkat, Bill Heck, Leem Lubany and EJ Bonilla.

The plot focuses around Bridges' character Dan Chase, otherwise known as the 'old man', who departed his role in the CIA and now lives a different life off the grid until an assassin appears to try and kill him.
