The re-opening of cinemas in Ireland has been announced yesterday along with other new public health measures.

Cinemas in Ireland are set to open up in June. The re-opening of cinemas in Ireland was announced yesterday alongside other new public health measures. However while initially, cinemas were given a June 7th reopening date, this was then backtracked. The gov.ie website now reads that "preparation for the safe reopening of cinemas and theatres in June subject to public health advice."

Although the specific date was removed it is likely they will nonetheless reopen this June at some point.

Cinemas will thus be open on time to show such blockbusters as 'Black Widow', Top Gun: Maverick, 'Fast and Furious 9 and A Quiet Place Part II.
