More than 35,000 requests were lodged for just 300 audience tickets for the Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas special, the show's creator Brendan O’Carroll revealed.
He said the BBC had the passes online for just 15 minutes as the comedy returns with a full audience for the first time since Covid hit in 2020.
