Gardai are questioning a man in his 30's in relation to the theft of eighteen cattle from a farm in West Cork last month
At the end of November rustlers stole six Friesian bulls and twelve Friesian heifers, worth about thirty thousand euro from a farm in the Lakelands area of Skibbereen.
Gardaí from the Serious Crime Units in West Cork supported by the Divisional Search Team and the department of agriculture, carried out searches in the Ballydehob area and positively identified the stolen cattle and returned them to their owner
A man in his 30's has been arrested in connection with the theft and is being detained for questioning while garda enquires are ongoing
