A man in his 70's has been taken to Cork University Hospital after being involved in a road traffic collision.
The pedestrian was walking near a roundabout in Midleton this morning.
Gardai and emergency services arrived at the scene of a traffic collision that occurred at approximately 11:30am today, Sunday, in the Gyrator area of Midleton, Co Cork.
One man aged in his 70s was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of NON-life threatening injuries that occurred as a result of this incident.
This road is currently open for use.
Elsewhere.. A woman was brought to hospital yesterday evening after a collision in Fermoy.
The collision involving two vehicles, happened at around 6.45pm yesterday in the Clondulane area of Fermoy, County Cork.
Gardaí told RedFM news that one woman aged in her 50s was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment of NON-life threatening injuries.
