A 19-year-old man who was stabbed in Dublin last Thursday evening as he sat in a car has died.
Gardaí have confirmed that Marius Mamaliga passed away at Beaumont Hospital yesterday afternoon as a result of his injuries on Brookdale Avenue in Swords.
20-year-old Brandon Gavin of Brookdale Road, River Valley, Swords, was charged with causing serious harm on Saturday.
Dublin District Court heard that Gardaí had CCTV evidence of a male approaching the rear of a car and fleeing 14 seconds later.
Mr. Gavin was remanded in custody, with consent to bail, and is due to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Wednesday.
