Low paid older women are earning less than similarly-aged low paid men.
That's one of the findings of a new report into Ireland's older lower paid workers.
UCD researchers found that of the 420,000 low paid employees in the country, one in five is aged over 50.
They're more likely to be employed in admin and healthcare roles, rather than in retail, accommodation and food.
