Strong winds and a heatwave have fanned the flames causing them to spread.
Homes and businesses have been destroyed and thousands of people have been forced to flee.
The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis updated reporters:
"I want to reassure all those affected by the fires that they are my first priority. All the burned land will be reforested, and we will change the way that we carry out flood protection and fire prevention works."
