Vladimir Putin says Russia has "no problems" selling energy to the world, and has called an idea to put a price cap on Russian gas "stupid".
He says a key pipeline to Europe could be switched back on but claimed the last operational turbine is broken.
Speaking at an economic forum, he also described Liz Truss's victory as Conservative leader to become British Prime Minister - as "far from democratic".
