Boris Johnson's days as British Prime Minister are limited, and if he continues to cling on, he'll be forced out.

That's the view of former Attorney General and British Conservative MP Dominic Grieves.

Boris Johnson is currently fighting for his job, after losing both his Chancellor and Health Secretary yesterday.

They quit after he apologised for appointing Chris Pincher as his deputy chief whip, saying he'd 'forgotten' about complaints over his behaviour.

Dominic Grieves says another confidence motion will likely be held, despite the current rules stating they could have to wait 12 months:

"I think that in reality, there will be another confidence motion, they will change the rules. If there isn't another confidence motion, that pressure that is going to build on them will be so great that his position will become untenable. It's very difficult. It's very unusual situation because if he'd been any ordinary Prime Minister, I think he would already be gone. But his character and temperament mean that he will cling on and I think we'll have to be forced out."
