Guns and ammunition have been seized in County Cavan.
Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit carried out searches in Ballyconnell, as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
A rifle and a revolver, along with ammunition, were discovered.
No one has been arrested so far.
