Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man in his 50's in North Cork
He was found on Saturday evening at Ballymaquirk in Mallow.
There is an appeal for witnesses in relation to a man seen walking on the road between Banteer and Kanturk on Friday June 13th, between half past three in the afternoon and nine pm in the evening.
Any road users who may have dash cam footage are being asked to make it available.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
