Fundraising is underway to pay for advanced treatment for a Cork father of three who was diagnosed with a rare form of Motor Neurone Disease

41 year-old Bryan O'Brien went to see his doctor with what he believed was a back injury

Efforts are being made to raise €500,000 for advanced medical treatment for Bryan in the US and for the conversion of his homeBryan lives in Carrigaline with his wife Charlotte and their three young children — six year old Elle three year old Jesse and Ty is 11 months

Friends have already raised almost €70,000 of their €500,000 target.
