The first Indian rhino to be born in Ireland has arrived in Fota Wildlife Park

The male calf is the second of only three Indian rhino calves to be born in any zoo in the world this year.

Both mother and baby are doing well but he is not on view to the public just yet.

You can make a suggestion for the new baby's name on the Fota Wildlife park website.
