Localised flooding is causing chaos in the city.

It comes as two status yellow warnings are in place for the county.

Separate warnings for both wind and rain are in place through today and Met Éireann have warned of heavy downpours as well as spot floods.

Traffic is extremely heavy in the city due to the adverse weather conditions and those driving are being urged to take extra precautions at the moment

There is localised flooding on South Link and the Tivoli roundabout should also be avoided.

Sundays well, the north mall, and harbour view road are completely flooded and road users should avoid the city centre as well as Thomas Davis Street and Blackpool.
