Diageo has confirmed it's adding seven cent to the price of a pint of its draught products from next month.
The company's also adding 10 cent to the cost of a pint of Guinness 0.0.
Diageo says industry wide cost pressures continue to exist and it must ensure it can maintain sustainable operations.
The Vintners' Federation of Ireland says many pubs simply won't have any option but to pass this increase on to customers.
