The Country is on-course to take a weather battering later today.
Heavy winds and rain are being predicted to move in from the Atlantic ocean early this afternoon.
A status yellow warning will come to effect at 1pm.
Matthew Martin of Met Éireann says it's shaping up to be a bad day.
"Strong winds are going to persist through the night and we expect, right up along the Atlantic sea in particular, strong and gusty southwest to west winds through until Monday morning. So an unsettled day."
