A West Cork farmer says they're on the frontline as they battle to keep the supply chain moving.
Harold Kingston has spoken out to RedFM News to urge all farmers to have a plan B in place in case someone else needs to run the farm.
He's also urged caution when dealing with lorry drivers and processors calling to farms to ensure that physical distancing is in place, and the supply chain won't be affected by those running it contracting COVID19.
It follows the decision by global fastfood chain McDonalds to close all restaurants here in Cork and across the country which it's estimated will represent a loss over 3,000 tons of beef per month.
