St. Luke's Home in Mahon have come up with a heartwarming way to keep up the spirits of it's residents.

In a Facebook post, St. Luke's Home said: "At this challenging time, Our residents would love to receive post!!
If you or your children would like to send us a letter, poem or drawing our residents would be delighted to see them! This would benefit our residents and continue to lift their spirits along with providing those of you with small children a little activity to do"

They then go on to list the first names of residents to personalise the letters and drawings being sent to them.

Any post can be sent to St. Luke’s Nursing Home Activity Team, Castle Road, Mahon, Cork.

People posting anything to residents should not seal the envelope as they normally would by licking the seal but to use sellotape and to wash your hands thoroughly before writing and posting the letters.
