Skibbereen's Ludgate Hub expected to attract significant investment in West Cork area as COVID19 accelerates move to rural and remote working

It's hoped the Skibbereen based Ludgate Hub will attract an increased amount of business and investment to the West Cork area in the wake of the COVID19 outbreak which has accelerated the move to rural and remote working.

The Covid 19 pandemic, has accelerated the move to rural and remote working and management at the Skibbereen based facility, which brought 1GB of connectivity to Skibbereen, say it's well placed to cater for the post COVID19 environment which it's expected will see a shift from the traditional format of large scale offices in cities.

Hundreds of direct and indirect jobs have been created by the Ludgate Hub and speaking to RedFM News CEO of the Ludgate Hub Grainne O'Keeffe says the pandemic has presented a unique opportunity for the West Cork region:
