SeaFest, Ireland's National Marine Festival Which Was Due To Take Place In May In Cork Has Been Cancelled

The event was due to take place in May 15-17th

In a statement issued to RedFM News Cork City Council says in light of the rapidly evolving situation and public health measures due to the coronavirus, a decision has been taken to cancel SeaFest, which was due to take place in May 15-17 2020 in Cork.

The Council says the decision was taken to ensure the health and wellbeing of both exhibitors and visitors at the event and that they look  forward to welcoming everyone to SeaFest again in 2021.

European Maritime Day, which was scheduled to take place in Cork to coincide with SeaFest, is being deferred and new dates are being considered.
