The switch comes as cases of Covid-19 increase across the county
The brand's parent company Irish Distillers say their staff in Midleton will be working with Cork based Mervue Laboratories to produce large scale quantities of alcohol gel for frontline medical staff, free of charge.
A spokesperson for the group says production of the gel will begin immediately and continue for the forseeable future.
