Large crowds were asked to disperse and one man was arrested

'Upon arrival at the scene in Eastgate, Gardaí observed the gathering of over 250 vehicles and 700 - 800 people. They say there was very little evidence of social distancing or compliance with public health guidelines. According to Gardaí, the crowd included older men in their 30s/40s, some accompanied by young children, but mainly men and women in their 20s. Those in attendance were asked to disperse and all complied, One man in his late 20's, was arrested for drunkenness offences. He has since been charged and bailed to appear in court at a later date.'
