The vaccine booster clinic at City Hall has opened early today.
The HSE say the queue is moving quickly and are encouraging people to take the opportunity to get a booster or dose 1 or 2.
People aged 50-plus have now nearly all received a booster and the South South West Hospital Group say they are making good progress with the over 40s.
City Hall will be open today until 8pm and tomorrow Thursday until 6pm.
A walk-in clinic for the over-40s will also open at Bantry Primary Care Centre tomorrow from 9:30am to 3pm.
The HSE say that clinic will also welcome people of age for a first or second dose.
