It comes as strict visitor restrictions remain in place at Cork University hospital, CUMH, the Mercy, Bantry General Hospital, and Mallow General Hospital, as well as all nursing homes across the county.
A post on social media on the Cobh Paddy's Day Parade Facebook page said that the health and well-being of our community is paramount and supersedes any event.
It comes after the Youghal 4 All and Paddy's Day Middleton parades have been cancelled in Youghal and Midleton respectively.
