A Cork Superintendent Is Urging People Leeside To 'Demonstrate Leadership' This Weekend When It Comes To Following Covid Guidelines

They are appealing for people to strictly follow the public health guidelines

Under enhanced Level 3 restrictions, people are being asked not to travel outside their county, to limit interactions with other people, and not to visit other people's homes.

Superintendent Adrian Gamble of Midleton Garda Station says that Gardai will continue to monitor checkpoints on primary and secondary roads across Cork City and County as part of Operation Fanacht.

Gardai are encouraging road users to only make essential journeys and not to visit other people's homes or allow others into your own home.

The appeal comes as NPHET recommends once again that the entire country is moved to Level 5 restrictions for 6 weeks.
