A woman is in critical condition in hospital after a road crash in Cork last night.
It happened at around 7.45pm
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle collision at Sarsfield Court in Glanmire yesterday evening.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s was taken Cork University Hospital where she is currently in a critical condition.
A female passenger in her 40's was also taken to hospital for be treated for NON life threatening injuries.
The road remains closed this morning for a technical examination.
Gardaí expect the road to reopen this afternoon.
