A woman has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Daniel Aruebose.
The missing persons case was upgraded to a homicide investigation earlier this month.
The remains of Daniel Aruebose, who would now be eight years old, were found during a search of open ground in Donabate in September.
He had been missing for four years.
Investigating gardaí this morning arrested a woman in her 20s.
She's been taken to a Garda station in Dublin, where she can be held for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
They say all contact will be welcomed and treated in the strictest confidence.
