A woman in her 70s is in critical condition following a road crash near Castleisland in Kerry.
The single car crash happened on the N23 at Lisheenbaun at around 20 to 11 last night.
The woman was taken to Kerry University Hospital in a critical condition.
The road is closed with diversions in place at Currow Village, however the N21 and N22 are not affected.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
