It happened in the early hours of this morning
Emergency services were called to a holiday home at Blarney Golf Resort at around 5.25 this morning.
Gardai have confirmed to RedFM News that the woman has been taken to Cork University Hospital, but that the extent of her injuries are not yet known.
A technical examination of the scene will be carried out today to determine the course of the Garda investigation.
