Visitor restrictions are in place at Cork University Hospital to reduce the spread of the winter vomiting bug.

An outbreak of the bug is affecting two wards at the hospital with two other wards under observation.

Limited visiting is in place but the HSE is appealing to the public not to visit CUH if they have symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting.
