Unsettled weather will continue right into the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Met Éireann says temperatures in Cork will stay in the low to mid teens during the week and into the weekend.

Rebeca Cantwell from Met Éireann says some spells of sunshine will appear between outbreaks of rain:

"The weather for the Bank Holiday weekend is looking fairly unsettled outbreaks of rain each day, but some spells of sunshine then at times in between, temperatures are low to mid teens, but here in Cork, 13 to 15 degrees on Saturday, with just a maximum of 13 degrees on Sunday and 14 degree on Monday so quite cool and unsettled."
