Two people have died in a multi vehicle collision in County Meath this morning.
The collision, involving a lorry, a bus and a car, occurred at approximately 6.30am.
The driver of the lorry aged his 40’s and the driver of the bus aged in his 50’s were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, and the passenger of the car aged in her teens have been transferred to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A number of people have also been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
The R132 is currently closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
