Two drag queens who were assaulted in Cork city over the weekend say they have been left shocked and angry after the attack
Krystal Queer and Lucina Schynning were filming a video on Oliver Plunkett Street in the early hours of Sunday morning when a number of men attacked them.
Footage of the attack has been widely shared online
Krystal told the Neil Prendeville Show no-one came to their aid in the wake of the assault
"Absolutely nobody came up to us afterwards, like I was gushing blood, you can see in the video like and so many people saw and lots of people filmed it, and nobody came up to ask if we were okay. Nobody rang the police, and the lads responsible for the attack had taken off, and it just seemed like nobody cared"
