Two amateur drama groups from Cork are to compete in this year's RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival.
Palace Players from Kilworth will put on Christian O'Reilly's ‘Chapatti’, while Rossmore-based Kilmeen Drama Group will perform ‘Conversations on a Homecoming' by Tom Murphy.
The annual festival will run in Athlone from the 5th to the 13th May, with the Presentation of Awards on Saturday, the 14th.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the prestigious festival.
