Tomorrow is Amber Thursday.
It's a campaign organised by public safety bodies and local authorities to help promote road, water and fire safety this bank holiday weekend.
The August Bank Holiday weekend is historically one of the busiest times of the year for the Emergency Services.
In June and July, Cork County Council’s Beach Lifeguards attended 16 rescues and assisted 29 people in the water.
So far this year, 9 people have died on Cork roads.
